Brown cloth with a modern adaption of Enrico Monetti's design; Spine title a bit faded. The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear. Dust jacket small loss at the top of the spine; one chip on the top rear panel and upper rear spine corner. Spine scuff probable from a sticker. 8vo; 8.75 inches tall; 316 pages with an index followed by publication information; Color frontispiece, thoroughly illustrated many illustrations appearing for the first time in book form.
