First Edition/First Printing with the correct publishing statement on the copyright page; a near fine book which shows mild shelf wear to the spine ends, light soiling to the spine, and a gentle wave to the text block; housed in a very good dust jacket which shows some rubbing and chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners, a couple of short closed tears along the bottom panel edge, including one about 1" long along the spine fold, and some moderate sunning to the spine; otherwise, a clean, tight, and bright copy of an important work by one of the greats of 20th century literature, and also basis for the fine film starring Michael Caine and Brendan Fraser. Not remaindered, not price clipped ($3.50 intact), and not ex-library; protected in a fresh Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904–1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
