About This Item
New York: Frederick Warne & Co.. Hardcover. Good+. Caldecoot, Randolph. New York: Frederick Warne & Co.. Good+. Caldecoot, Randolph. Early edition, 21 color plates and line drawing on all other pages, illustrated endpapers. Two line drawings have been neatly colored in by a young previous owner, otherwise the book is unmarked. The sewn binding is weak although the threads are still holding. Color illustations on front and back boards. Spine is lost and cloth backing is exposed, a piece of tape has been placed over this some time ago, as it has dried and is ready to be removed. Paper covering is gone from spot approximately 1'' on lower front cover and 1/4" strip on edge of back board. Despite these flaws, it's charming.
