In the Sixteenth Annual Report of the Regents of the University of the State of New York, on the Condition of the State Cabinet of Natural History, and the Historical and Antiquarian collection Annexed Thereto. Made to the Legislature, April 15, 1863. Albany: Cumstock & Cassidy, 1863 Side-stiched, 8vo. 16pp. + 123pp. Jacques Bruyas (1635-1712) was a French Jesuit missionary among the Mohawk. This work was also published in Shea's library of American linguistics no. 10 at New York in 1862. From the John Lawson collection with his bookplate, occasional light foxing, a good copy.
