From jacket: "From its beginning in 1913, the Brigham and Women's Hospital, nee Peter Bent Brigham (Hospital), was intended to be different from other Boston hospitals, tied by design and proximity to Harvard Medical School... The growth of Brigham radiology from that basement corner to its present stature is a story involving hundreds of radiologists, radiographers, scientists, clerks, managers... It is particularly, the story of two men, Merrill C. Sosman and Herbert L. Abrams, who shaped the department. For 34 years, Merrill Sosman was Brigham radiology... Such was his strength of intellect and character that he became a leader in the hospital and American radiology." Book is in excellent condition, but jacket has edgewear and light wear, a one inch tear on top front and front inside flap is creased.
