Comments: The author describes his experiences of India at the end of WWII whilst serving at RAF Sind Desert Station. There was civilian unrest at this time and the base served as a staging post for English women prisoners of war who had been badly treated by the Japanese. The women's leader and the author became close and she is the subject of the title "chosen one" due to her strong sense of perception. . First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
