Animal stories illustrated throughout by Harrison Cady including 6 full page color plates, additional color illustrations, and more plates and illustrations in black and white. Green cloth with color illustration mounted on the front cover, 10.75" tall, 96 pages. Covers heavily rubbed with fraying to the edges, hinges good but text block no longer firm, pages a bit age-yellowed but generally clean with some little fingerprints to some margins, most pages with wear to the edges including small chips and tears, long horizontal tear to one text page without loss of text, no names or other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
