Bobbs-Merrill, Indianapolis, 1907. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. [Gorgeous Illustrations] Bound in publisher's pictorial cover, with green cloth spine. Edge wear to cover. Some fray at spine crown, tail. 8 full color plates. 60 unnumbered pages; 30 cm. Text within ornamental borders. Internally generally good, except two facing pages have a small place where they stuck together tore at the border. <br> Lovely illustrations by Ethel Franklin Betts. One of the best examples of the Sunbonnet School (1900 - 1920). Betts was a student of Howard Pyle.
