Bobbs-Merrill, Indianapolis, 1907. "New Edition first printing 1919". Ex-library with usual markings, else VG-. Nice library binding, red cloth-covered boards, gilt spine lettering (faded), 9 1/4 x 7 inches, unpaginated (about 46 pp.). Glossy, thick (card-like) pages. Illustrations by Ethel Franklin Betts. Eight full-page color plates. In addition, the text pages have diverse b/w drawings partially colored in red. Sturdy, tight binding. The white portions of the pages have patchy mild to modest soiling, not affecting the color plates, and mostly mild. No torn pages. Quite attractive despite being ex-library. Scarce. (3214017). Hardcover.
