Fascinating black and white pictorial showing the wide range of Southern railroads in the steam era, especially the small, often underfunded short lines and branch routes. Almost 100 railroad lines are shown -- from the largest (such as the Southern and the C&O) to the smallest (the Tweetsie and the Live Oak, Perry & Gulf) with many stops in between.
