The Conservative Press Company, London, no date (c.1884). Hardcover. Good. Tom Merry. Title page + 8pp + 9 full page plates by Tom Merry. Page of text with full page colour lithograph opposite. No. 3 is illustrated with 2 plates. Printed on one side of the page only. 2 lithographs by Judd & Co., others by Gilbert & Rivington. Cloth boards with gilt lettering. Covers little scuffed and bumped, spine little frayed. End papers little foxed and soiled. The plates illustrating No. 3 are water stained, in the first the staining is minimal and is mainly restricted to the margins, the second is more extensive (notably evident on verso). A little soiling and fingering to the margins of the other plates but generally fresh and bright. 36x27cms.
