First Edition. A rare book, a series of letters sent to the "Chicago Daily News," written by the American consul-general at Gothenburg. I have been unable to locate any other copies for sale. Signed inscription by Cooper on the front endpaper: "With the compliments of Sidney W. Cooper, Gothenburg, Feb. 4/85." Very Good (some wear but mostly bright covers with little fading spine, very tiny hole front endpaper; contents clean & tight). Try to find another! $2,500.00.
