Bumped spine ends, cloth rubbed. Cocked. top text block edge dusty, other edges tanning. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some shelf wear, light chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price unclipped. 8vo. Illustrated with 10 maps (4 fold-out). Looks at the war in which Marlborough was at the summit of his career and performance at Ramillies, Oudenarde and the reconquest of Belgium, as well as English politics and the Scottish problem.
