Good plus with toned vellum-like paper spine with leather spine label over paper covered boards, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, stain to fore edge, pages browned from age and paper quality, professional repairs to spine and hinges. Nevertheless, a respectable copy of a noted rarity.. Limited edition #79 of 105 copies, signed by the author (who is most famous for the children's classic, The Velveteen Rabbit). Notable as a Rackham limited edition which he didn't sign.

This work is frequently cited as the "rarest Rackham" limited edition and was never issued in England as a limited edition. With 7 tissue-guarded tipped-in plates by Rackham.

Books may be returned to us for any reason within fourteen (14) days of receipt, through prior arrangement, and in original condition and packed and shipped appropriately with insurance at full sale price. Unless books are not as described or were damaged in transit, all return postage/shipping to be paid by buyer.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order or sale for any reason and acceptance of an offer to purchase shall only be made when the good has been actually shipped by us.
