Publisher's original pink and white cloth with dark brown titles to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with line drawings by Anne Scott. A very good copy. the binding square and firm, the contents with the author's signature and one other to the endpaper are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed and nicked dustwrapper which is toned to the spine. Signed and dated June 1978 by Paul Roche in black ink on the front endpaper. Beneath the author's signature, in blue ink, is the signature of the British actress Barbara Jefford (1930-2020) who, among her many appearances on stage and screen, played the role of Molly Bloom in Joseph Strick's 1967 cinematic adaptation of ames Joyce's Ulysses.
