New York: Garden City Books. Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1953. Book Club Edition. Hardcover. 192 p. 21.5 cm. Copyright date only. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. One inch area of damage along front top edge. Light wear to the corners. Text block edges a little dusty with one small black spot on front edge. Previous owner's name and address blackened out on half title page, which has bled onto title page and back of endpaper. Otherwise, inside pages are clean and unmarked, with slight toning. Dustjacket has wear to corners and spine ends, including tiny tears, chips, and creases. Sticker pull mark on front panel with price written in same area. Darkened along flap edges. Light soil to rear panel. Illustrated with pen and ink drawings. .
