About the author

Carl Adamshick is the author of Curses and Wishes, which won the Walt Whitman award from the Academy of American Poets, and Saint Friend. He is a founder and editor at Tavern Books, a nonprofit press dedicated to poetry and the preservation of books. Andy Buck is a sculptor and furniture designer who lives and works in upstate New York. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and Virginia Commonwealth University, his work brings together traditional craftsmanship, investigations in form, and richly painted surfaces. He has presented his work in over one-hundred exhibitions in galleries and museums all around the country and abroad. He is professor and program chair for the Furniture Design Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
