About This Item
London: Marshall Brothers, Ltd, 1921. Hardcover. Good+. 282 pp + publisher's catalogue, with folding tables, indices, handwritten letter from author to publisher laid in. General wear to boards including tears at spine; contents clean. The letter pertains to Macinlay's cost for ordering additional copies of his book, some of he will be giving away to various people who helped in the preparation of the manuscript, a library, etc. It appears he has been offered copies at a price higher than that charged to the book trade, and he protests that this is unfair.
