Camden, SC: African Collection series- Briar Patch Press, 1987. Collector's Reprint edition. . Full blue calf hardcover in cloth-bound slipcase. Very Good. Thick octavo (larger than standard size). Gilt design and lettering on spine, likewise on cover. A limited edition of this series, #14 of 500, with better quality leather than in the regular run. All pages edges gilt. Slight shelf wear to edges and corners of boards and pages. Light scuffing to covers. 272 p. w/illustrations. Includes the final chapter missing from the original edition. Finaughty was a muzzle loading hunter of the old school, and was active in the 1860s and 1870s.
