Norwich, NY: J.F. Hubbard, Jr., 1866. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Octavo. [4], x, 11-582 pp. Illustrated with two steel engraved frontispiece portraits. 20 cm. Small bookplate on the front pastedown. Owner's name in neat ink on a blank flyleaf, "Henry R. Mygatt," and printed on a small label affixed to the top of the title page. Contemporary brown half levant leather and marbled paper boards, two black morocco spine labels with gilt titles, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers. Wear to the board edges and joints, rubbing to the boards, else very good. Text pages clean and tight, with light scattered spotting.
