About This Item
East Falmouth, MA: PeKa Boo Press, 1984 IN NEAR FINE CONDITION. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the ffp "To Bob Gontos (sp?) a good friend and pleasant colleague, Bob E." In April & May 1984, the U.S. and Canada presented verbal aguments to the World Court, over the exact international ocean boundary line between them. The author, as an ecologist and not a lawyer, found it difficult to take notes. In an effort to focus on the legal basis, he found himself doddling. This book is full of black & white doodles of a biological nature, which represent what was being discussed, retaining some of the original handwritten notes. ie: "Listening to Lawyers argue points is like looking through a kaleidoscope" with a kalaidoscopic image, along with handwritten notes that read "Any non-lawyer who attempts to explore the labyrinths of a lawyers mind will surely meet the minotaur." Very insightful and entertaining. In a protective mylar sleeve.
