FIRST EDITION (1802), text in French, 4to, approximately 270 x 210 mm, 10½ x 8½ inches, 18 engraved folding plates, pages: iv, [1], 1-42, (page 42 bound out of order at the front, following page iv), EX LIBRARY COPY FROM THE ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY, their bookplate on first pastedown, no other library marks, full calf, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, rebacked and corners repaired in lighter leather, new cream endpapers, gilt library number to foot of lower cover. Binding rubbed, a little damage to top and bottom of upper cover near spine, hinges beginning to crack, covers still firmly attached, pale browning to engraved plates, mostly to edges, some light creasing to lower blank margin of 10 plates, 2 small closed tears to top edge of 2 plates neatly repaired, otherwise a very good copy.
