Gilt lettered author/title on 2nd panel, vol # on 3rd. TEG. Clean. Tight. FINE inside BUT: bkplts. . All identically bound with marbling & silk page markers. "Bound for John Wanamaker by Em. Terquem, Paris" on 2nd ep. These were either his personal books, or, more likely, just sold thru his stores. He is credited with originating the department store. Extrems with minor wear. Outer hinges worn, some heels cracked. FINE text blocks, in & out, top to bottom. Likely never read as all stay closed when stood on their spines. .
