New York: Dutton, 1955. First Edition. VG+ (slight spine lean, a touch of soiling to boards) in a VG+ unclipped dustjacket with some moderate edgewear and rubbing on back. INSCRIBED by MacMahon to Nicholas Wreden (and wife), his editor at Dutton, on the ffep in the year of publication. Wredens ownership inscription on the front board is also present. MacMahon is the author of The Lion Tamer and Children of the Rainbow, and his work has been compared favorably to some of the best Irish short story writers of the previous century.
