First edition, first issue with no frontis plate, six pages of ads at the rear, an ad for Grey's books listing eleven titles with "Last of t he Great Scouts" being the final title listed. Bound in tan cloth with orange lettering on the front board and black lettering on the spine. A Near Fine copy. The covers are bright and clean. Mild dust soiling to the edges of the upper page block. Gift inscription dated 1921 inke d on the front fly. The interior is fine. No dust jacket. A clean, sha rp copy of what Myers described as the first edition, 1st issue of thi s uncommon first. .
