Trusting the man who visited his farm for eight days to talk about his 1000 acre farm, his writing, his views on the world today (1971) he spoke freely to Dick Perry about the things closest to his heart. " What wouldn't I have given to be able to have such a record, made in the lifetimes, of the writers i most admired, Twain, Frost, Edgar Lee masters and Sandburg".
