About This Item
Agustin Avrial, 1903. First Edition. Leather. 70 pages. A collection of royal decrees on prisons and prison reform, with responses of the justice minister. First edition (first printing). A near fine copy in full red leather, stamped on the cover with the coat of arms of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. This deluxe binding was most likely done for a high-lever government official. One would like to say it belonged to the king himself, but it does not contain his bookplate or monogram inside. Still, a very attractive royal binding.
