London: : Commissioners on the Public Records, 1838. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall. VG, 1st ed, 1838, in Latin. In contemporary marked brown cloth, corners & edges bumped. Re-spined, printed paper label. Internally, half title, [4], [3], (iv-xxii), [2], [1], 3-362 pp, some very light edge browning, ink name to tp (John Hanmer 1845). (318*515 mm), hinges strengthened. The introduction states that the first part contains a collection of Extents of Manors chiefly for Caernarvon and Anglesey. The chapter title at pp 117 introduces another collection of Records - Leges et Consuetudines. Goes into the Statute of Wales 12284, mentions the Counties of Merioneth, Caernarvon, Anglesey and Flint in North Wales and then Caermarthen and Cardigan in South Wales. 259 pp another chapter Extenta Com' Meryonneth (MS. Harl. fol. 115). 293 pp Additamenta (Ex MS. Harl. 4776. Fol. 110-117) & then Indices from 304-362.

Incorrect item delivered: The title, cover or edition of the book is different than the title on the order. Item not received: The estimated delivery date has passed and the book has still not arrived. To cancel a book order or return a book simply contact Madoc with your order confirmation details and to obtain the return address.

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
