1970 NY: World. First American edition; translated from the Danish. Written in 1967 and first published in English by the Hogarth Press the previous year under the title "Tumult". A novel of the sexual obsession of a Copenhagen businessman for a street-gang waif-like young girl. One of a number of tillitating 1960s sexual revolution novels written by Allen, whose other works include "Young Love" and "It's A Swinging Life". A fine, tight copy in fine dust jacket.
