Edinburgh: The Congregation. Good with no dust jacket. 1835. Hardcover. xcix, 570pp + 15 unnumbered pages. Frontis. Very Scarce. Book has dark, red-brown leather covers with impressed designs on the front, spine, back and edges, gold text on the spine, gilt lines decorating the shoulders and gilt on the top edge, fore-edge and bottom edge of the textblock, remains of green ribbon between pages lxxxvi and lxxxvii. Wear and tears along the head, tail and corners, wear along the edges of the spine and bottom edge of the boards, minor scuffing to front and back covers, spine has darkened. Inner, green cloth hinges show some cracking along front inner hinge. Binders tickets on front and back pastedowns. Ex-library with white text on spine and stamps, minor foxing on some pages, otherwise text is clear and unmarked. ; Ex-Library; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 684 pages .
