Glasgow. Printed by and for R. Chapman 1817 1st edition (First Published 1779). Hardback. Size approx 8.5 x 5.5 inches. In full calf leather binding. Red morocco leather spine labels. Gilt lettering, Gilt and blind embossed decoration to spine and board egdes. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good condition. Edges and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Rubbing to spine. Minor marks to boards. Previous owners bookplate to front endpaper. Edges of endpapers slightly darkened. A couple of spots to page edges else inside pages very clean and tight throughout. Pages numbered 262-504. (243pp. + 2pp foreword.)
