An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with just mild rubbing at the extremities. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Loosely laid in is a flyer for the author's 2011 Poetry Society lecture. Inscribed by the author in blue ink on the title page "For Pat / warmly / C. K. Williams". Published simultaneously in the UK and US (Farrar, Straus & Giroux). Provenance: from the library of the multi-award winning poet Pat Borthwick.
