S., it has pull-out map at back. Foreword by James Davis, director of office of interior at the time (1951). Discusses Alaska's surface features, history with Russia, climate, travel, communications, life, population, land, industry, resources, festivals etc. at mid 20th C.

I am starting to think the govt. exempted itself from isbn, none is seen here. Handsome book, perfect bound, spine uncreased, but, I note a dent at it's middle.
