Report includes sections covering the staff of the Museum, inception and history, operations of the year, appropriations, buildings and furniture, collections, cooperative educational work, visitors, publications, library, photography, meetings, congresses, researches, explorations, and distribution and exchange of specimens. Also notes important matters of the year, announcing a new building for the National Museum. Ends with a list of accessions and a bibliography of papers based on the national collections. Only indication of ex-library status is a bookplate from the Sturgis Library in Barnstable, Massachusetts from 1908 and a title page stamp. Slight fading to boards. Near-fine..
