Very Good. 0x0x0. 1884 Government Printing Office (Washington, D.C.), 9 1/8 x 11 1/2 inches tall hardcover, gilt-ruled blue cloth covered boards over blue leather spine and tips, five raised bands and gilt decoration and lettering to spine, blue ribbon marker sewn in, marbled endpapers, copiously illustrated with black-and-white engravings and line drawings, vi, 276 pp. Slight soiling, rubbing qnd edgewear to covers. Period prior owner name to title page. A couple of pages with marginal check-marks. Otherwise, apart from slight age toning, a very good copy - clean and unmarked - in a handsome binding.
