New York: Hurst and Company Publishers Book. Illus. by Frontispiece Engraving. Very Good Minus. Hardcover. Reprint. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Original grey cloth over boards with dark green and pink decoration, dark green lettering and pastedown of pink roses. Ca. 1907. Spine a little faded. Two tiny spots of edgewear along bottom front edge of cover. Minor stains on pastedown. Small bookseller sticker inside back cover. Originally published in 1850, the author discusses boyhood, country life, marriage, and dreams. It was said to be one of Emily Dickinson's favourite books..
