Quarter bound in black cloth with red paper boards and gilt lettering to spine. Spine ends lightly bumped and gilt lettering lightly rubbed, else fine. Dust jacket lightly bumped at spine ends and lightly chafed and creased at rear joint, else fine. Text is bright and clean. This thriller follows Charlie Ochs, a Cape Cod lobsterman - who used to be Blake Wrightman, a member of a radical fringe group. When an experimental time bomb kills a young boy, Blake is forced into a new reclusive lifestyle, watching his every move. But then Charlie falls in love and wants to get married, and everything is going his way...until the arrival of an uninvited wedding guest. A renegade official of the Justice Department - a dying man on a personal vendetta - has tracked Charlie down, He is willing to let Charlie keep his new life, complete with wife and child, if Charlie is willing to make a peculiar cross-country trip, one that involves reacquainting himself with his old accomplices.
