Frontispiece photo of the author and his wife at Beauchamp, 1974. Numerous photos of the author throughout, in successive periods of his life. Bound in publisher's original quarter black cloth and black paper, with tan endpapers. Dust jacket has very light wear at top edge, otherwise fine.
