The plates are clean, not damaged, and do not have any library markings or stamps. Generally a clean, sound example of the book. The end-pages are the original coated green paper. Creakingly tight, the book bears no previous ownership marks etc, the covers are very clean, the coloured top edge intact and the other two edges clean and free from foxing or other marks. A nice copy. The dustjacket in not price-clipped. It has one short tear to the bottom edge, front panel and a tape repair to a short tear at the top edge of the lower panel. The jacket is bright and colour-faded only at the spine area. A VG or even Near Fine dustjacket, a pleasing copy overall. SIGNED by Don McCullin at the title page (for the seller in person), and the signing-event ticket is laid loosely into the book.
