Griffith & Co., 1861. 1st Nashville ed. 2 Vols. 250;232pp. Folding plate frontis., plates. Orig. blind stamped cloth, housed in custom green morocco backed cloth slipcase with inner cloth chemise. Light scattered foxing and toning, light wear to corners of Vol. One, Vol. Two spine ends and corners worn, cloth rubbed, else very good set. P&W 4865. Confederate Hundred 40. Hardee's Tactics was widely used on both sides in the Civil War.
