Black boards with black cloth overlay on spine with bright gold lettering on spine. 249 pp 8vo. The memoirs of an Army rifleman who served in the jungles of Vietnam mostly as the pointman of his platoon. His service was between the time in 1967 that the enemy was on the run and 1968 with Tet when the tide of opinion turned. Wounded times in his tour in the boonies, he survived to write his memoirs of Vietnam. A clean and very presentable copy.
