About This Item
Paperback. Penguin. UK. 1974. Paperback. First edition thus. A lovely copy, well looked after. Cover art is beautiful bearing an illustration of an otter to the front by Barry Driscoll. Nice, bright, clean covers with a little crease to spine. Tips have been protected by previous owner with small, triangular tape so shaded at tips, small name to fep, a little age toned to edges but otherwise clean and unmarked. Black and white photographs towards middle. A moving account of the author's life in the Western Highlands and his little band of otters including Mijbil. 'Ring of Bright Water' by Gavin Maxwell. Looks little read. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
