New York: Prentice- Hall, Inc., 1921. First edition, title page dated 1921. Story of a boy and his dog in Texas, with six black and white plates plus a color frontis with tissue. Dark blue cloth with color illustration mounted on the front cover, lettering in gilt, no dustjacket, possibly as issued. Very good copy with very light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages with an old gift notation on the reverse side of the frontis illustration, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
