Chicago, IL: N.P., 1891. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 16mo. 136 pages. Hardcover in green cloth. Binding is rubbed. There is spotting at the lower edge of the rear cover. Headcap/foot of spine are frayed/bumped. Inner hinges are broken. Cords show. There is damping at the fore-edge of text block and boards. "Lucy W. Russ" is written on the front flyleaf. The rear flyleaf has some notations written lightly in pencil. The Test Oath is handwritten on the page opposite the title page. The text block is broken in several places in the book but all the pages appear to be present. Page 56 has a bit of tape placed over a small tear at the margin. Text is toned at edges, with foxing and some smudges.
