Blue cloth boards and pictorial dustjacket by Cuthbertson. 263pp. With b&w photos in plates. The author commanded the River Police of London during the Second World War and after. Very Good in Good protected dustjacket. Clean bright covers, clean pages with lightly spotted closed edges, browned (offset) endpapers. Jacket has light browning with some handling marks to back, bright front, creased edges with loss top front near spine (3x1cm) and tiny loss to spine top, closed tear to back corner. Now in protective sleeve.
