About This Item

1971. Book. Near Fine. Wrappers. Unpaginated gallery catalogue of works for sale in the Lungano, Switzerland gallery run by the estimable Roman Norbert Ketterer, who, with his brother, is largely held responsible for the return to prominence of the artists deemed too decadent for the German Third Reich. This beautifully produced paperbound catalogue with printed Mylar dustjacket is in fine condition, with scarce wear or evidence of use. Little text other than detailed cataloguing in German of each work for sale, accompanied by a full color, beautifully reproduced image of each painting by such artists as Otto Dix, Erich Heckel, Alexij Von Jawlensky, Viktor Brauner, Salvador Dali, Oskar Kokoshka, Kirchner, Emil Nolde, and many more..
