Toronto: Macmillan. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1962. Second Printing. Hardcover. 222 p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding in orange, cloth-covered boards. Faint water mark on top fore-corner of upper board. Light wear to the corners. A couple of tiny dings to the bottom edges. Text block edges lightly soiled. Previous owner's name on the half title page. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dust jacket has wear to the edges, heaviest at the spine ends, and including some small closed tears, chips, and creases. The fold edges are rubbed. Rear white panel has some soil. Not price clipped ($2.95). The story of a Kip, a boy whose family buys an old school house on the Bay of Quinte and how he then meets a boy named Dan and takes a canoe trip down the Trent Canal from Lakefield to Trenton. Map illustrated endpapers showing local towns on the Trent Canal system and illustrations of buildings and features. .
