(AUTOMOBILE RELATED PHONOGRAPH RECORD) GOTTLER, Archie, and Edgar Leslie. O THE ROAD TO OLD KILARNEY. New York: Little Wonder Records, 1915. 5 1/2 inch circular shellac record. Early 20th century example of a phonograph recorded song about auto travel in Old Kilarney, Ireland - a popular song in 1915. It was recorded by Little Wonder Records in New York whose recordings were all on 5 1/2 inch one-sided discs. The record company was funded in 1914 by publisher Henry Waterson and his silent partner Irving Berlin and were distributed exclusively through Columbia Phonograph Company. This is number 323 in their repertoire of recordings. (40218).
