New York: Joseph P. Day, Auctioneer Inc, 1937. Poster. 1 sheet, illustrations. 21.75 x 11.75 in. (folded to 7.25 x 6 in.). Fair. Numerous horizontal folds. Edges chipped and some splitting along the folds. A vignette map appears at the head of the document. Date of publication inferred from dates the New York, Westchester and Boston Railroad (listed on the map) operated the Pelham Parkway Station. Ink inscription: "right about here is my lot." Early 20th century advertisement for a real estate auction of lots in the Bronx emphasizing their strong resale and investment value. Day was one of the most successful real estate brokers in New York city from 1895-1944.
