A tight, clean, sound copy in green cloth covered boards with gold lettering and a graphic on the spine and on the front with minor overall shelf wear with rubbing along the spine edges and at the right board corners plus there is a small closed tear (about 0.25") on the bottom spine edge plus there is some very, very light bumping on the right corners of the boards plus there is some light yellowing on the outside paper edges plus there is some very, very light soiling on the right outside paper edges. A book about the life of Robert Browning, how it affected his character, and how this is reflected in his poetry. Illustrated with one black and white reproduction. Indexed, 381p.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
